Cellist Marcio Botelho performs the Saint-Saens concerto for cello and orchestra in A minor with the George Mason University Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Dennis Layendecker. GMU Center for the Arts, 8 pm, $15 adults, $10 seniors.

March 5

The Chuck Redd Quartet, featuring Chuck on vibes and Tommy Cecil, bass, performs at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 4th and M Streets SW, Washington, D.C., from 6 pm to 9 pm. Admission $5.

A "Salute from Yesterday to Tomorrow," featuring Maurice Lyles, drums, Wade Beach, piano, and Ephraim Wolfolk, bass, with vocalist Queen Aisha. Westminster Presbyterian Church, 4th and M Streets SW, Washingtoin, D.C. from 6 pm to 9 pm. Admission $5.

April 3

The U-Liners perform a tribute to Merle Haggard at the Iota Club and Cafe, 2832 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, Va. Sets start at 8 pm. Cover.
