Artist Description
In order for musicians to know where they are going they have to know where the music they play came from.Lion at Midnight\'s music is feed by the roots of Rock-n-Roll and Rhythm and Blues. From Lynyrd Skynyrd to James Browne, from the Allman Brothers to the Temptations,Lion at Midnight can trace their roots down into the rich soil of rock and blues. With such strong roots, Lion at Midnight is able to put their own vibe into classic songs of the past without losing the smokey flavor of the road houses and juke joints from which they were first heard. In addition to knowing where their roots are, Lion at Midnight also has an eye on other musicians like Gov\'t Mule, Ben Harper and the Black Crowes who share their common musical ancestry. Lion at Midnight enjoys blending the new with the old to produce their unique toe tapping, head swaying, danceable sounds.
